The actress, once the cover model for Vogue magazine, lives at Beverly Hills along with Samantha and Olivia. They dated for just 8 years before they were divorced for a total of 20 years. Ann Turkel is still struggling to come to terms with her divorce from husband, Richard Harris. Her family was a Jewish middle-class household and grew up in Manhattan, Turkel had, as a teenager, studied in the company of Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse, and Philip Burton at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. She started dancing lessons in the age of 5 and continued to study art throughout college. She credits her talent to her mother. Ann is a vocalist as well as dancing and acting since her early childhood. In the age group of 16, Ann had studied at the Musical Theatre Academy and the Neighborhood Playhouse with some of the top acting instructors in the city including Sandy Meisner and Philip Burton. Ann began singing at the age of 16 alongside other students and eventually formed an ensemble. It was in Stockbridge, Massachusetts she also performed in the summer at the Berkshire Playhouse performing plays like The Pajama Game and West Side Story. Ann's performance with her band at a fashion show was the first time Gloria Schiff, editor of Vogue Magazine, discovered Ann. Within a few days, the editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland had Ann shoot her very first Vogue cover in collaboration with photographer Richard Avedon. Then Ann became one of the most sought after models in the United States, appearing on the covers of fashion's top magazines including Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan among other magazines. After two years Ann was able to enter the world market with her successful modeling throughout Europe as well as Japan to be the model for such cosmetic giants as Max Factor Revlon and Chanel.
